Impell is a puzzle game with a fairly simple aim. The aim for each level
is to get the required number of movable blocks onto the `X' tiles. This
is done by moving the purple character about the screen with the Joystick
The movable blocks (light blue and white) can be pushed from behind.
White (ice) blocks will keep moving until they hit a wall, or other
obstacle. Teleporter tiles are the tiles with the light blue circles on
them. These will transport the purple character to another teleporter
tile on the screen. Pushing a block onto a teleporter square will result
in its destruction. Some titles are missing, these are holes. Pushing a
block onto these tiles will fill up the hole, so the purple character can
walk across.
At the top left of the screen is a password, which can be used to return
to the level if you end the game. On the top right of the screen is the
number of blocks left to push onto an `X'.
On the main menu screen there are several options. Load Custom will load
a custom level from disk (It will probably be more useful when I finish
the level editor.) Code will allow you to enter a password for a level.
Options is currently empty, as there aren't any options that you can
change at the moment.
The game is fairly intelligent about where it loads its files from,so you
shouldn't experience any problems there (I hope!)
I'm only 15, so I don't have a lot of time or money to spend on
developing games, any donations would be welcome!
